Sunday 4th September - Farm Hedgerow Walk 1.00pm to 3.30pm

Take a walk along the farm lanes and field boundaries identifying trees and shrubs and enjoy the hedgerow harvest as you go. This is a free event. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the Centre before your walk. Strong shoes and a waterproof jacket are advised.

 

Sunday 8th May - Spring Wildflower Walk 1.00pm to 3.30pm

Join Helen Brown for an enjoyable stroll along the farm's lanes and tracks identifying some of the farm's 270 wildflower species.  Bring a packed lunch and enjoy your meal in the Organic Resource Centre before you start your walk.  Participants are advised to bring suitable outdoor footwear and a water proof jacket.   Free of Charge, however donation for refreshments required.

 

Friday 20th May - Lime Plastering an Introduction 10.00am - 4.00pm

Join Malcolm Uttley accredited chartered building surveyor and Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings Lethaby Scholar Alan Gardner for an introduction to Lime Plastering.    Participants are advised to bring suitable outdoor clothing and a packed lunch.  The event is run as part of the Heritage Skills Programme by the North of England Civic Trust and is  Free of Charge.  To book your place see skills@nect.org.uk

 

Friday 21st May - Lime Repointing for Homeowners 10.00am - 4.00pm
