If attending an event that requires any outdoor activity ensure you have a suitable waterproof jacket and stout footwear.

Felt Making Workshop

Tutor: Judy Johnston

Join Judy for a fun one day felt making workshop and take home your own piece of felt to make up into an item of your choice.  Participants will need to bring/wear old clothes or a protective apron, rubber gloves and a towel.  This workshop is suitable for adults and families.

Fee: £5 per Adult £3 per child required at the time of booking

Wildflower Walk

Guide: Bryan Jeffrey

Discover the farm’s host of spring wildflowers, with local botanist and guide Bryan Jeffrey. Enjoy this informative walk along the farm’s hedgerows and pastures and list the wildflower species you find along the way.  Bring an optional picnic lunch to eat in the Centre before starting off on your walk.  Complete novices and botanists of all abilities welcome.

Fee: £5 per person required at time of booking.

Herbal Workshop

Tutor: Jackie Cooper

Spend the day at Low Luckens’ with medical herbalist Jackie Cooper, learning about, collecting and identifying herbs.  Enjoy the taste of refreshing herbal teas and create wonderful skin creams to take home.  Please bring stout shoes and jacket for herb collection walk.

Fee: £10 per person required at time of booking, plus materials on the day.

Hedgerows in Autumn

Guide: Bryan Jeffrey

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the Centre before your walk and then join Bryan Jeffrey for a stroll along the farm tracks and field edges.  Autumn is a beautiful time to experience the splendour and harvest of the farm’s hedgerows.  Bring suitable outdoor clothing and stout walking boots.

Fee: £5.00 required at the time of booking

Willow Seasonal Garland Workshop

Tutor: Phil Bradley

Seasonal garlands are a traditional and beautiful way to decorate your home and celebrate the season.  Join Phil Bradley for our willow seasonal garland workshop, and create your own natural and original autumn garland.  Bring/wear old clothes or a protective apron.  No experience necessary and all materials provided.

Fee: £10 per person required at time of booking, plus materials on the day.
